Cause

The First Nations Health Foundation is the first and only foundation of its kind, serving as a bold model of philanthropy and partnership that bridges funding and knowledge gaps to accelerate equitable and culturally safe healthcare for First Nations people in BC. Rooted in First Nations knowledge and ways of being, we are committed to honouring diverse cultures, languages, and the holistic wellness of communities.

Our vision is for First Nations people in BC to have self-determined health and wellness to realize their full potential. Guided by core values of innovation, respect, reciprocity, responsibility, and relationships, we foster meaningful, long-term partnerships with First Nations communities, the First Nations Health Authority, and donors. Together, we inspire people everywhere to contribute to this vital work, creating a lasting legacy of wellness for the next seven generations.
